The Point
Both Zen koans and internet shitposts use absurdity to short-circuit rational processing and provoke a non-logical insight. The koan asks: "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" The shitpost asks: "Is a hot dog a sandwich?" Both are unanswerable within their own frame. Both force you outside the frame.
