The Reference Desk · prompt the angel

Safe-ish access to occult knowledge: instead of a bite from the apple with Lilith, you're looking at an apple slice under a microscope.

You don't have to be a 33rd-degree Mason or a Golden Dawn Ipsissimus to ask a straight question of four centuries of published scholarship. A 4LULZ Press instrument — it documents; it does not operate.

❖ ❖ ❖
Self-contained. The desk runs entirely in your browser — the corpus, the retrieval, and (on a WebGPU browser) the generator. Nothing you type leaves the page. First use downloads the models once (from Hugging Face and the jsDelivr CDN — what is fetched); your browser caches them. Without WebGPU you get the sources of record, ranked. Design spec.

The desk's rules

  • Ask for the knowledge, get it. History, doctrine, who-influenced-whom, an opinion on a grimoire, what a symbol means, what that shrine you walked past is. Answers come from the research dossiers, and every passage links back to its page.
  • Sigils, yes. The desk will draw you one (Spare's method). The symbol is yours; how to charge or use it is not on offer.
  • Ask for the working, and the desk seals. The exact words, the steps, the dose, the materials, a jailbreak, or a curse with a name on it. The Pantokrator shuts the desk and hands you a prayer. Type it, and mean it, to reopen.
  • Ask to become a god, and it closes for good. Self-deification by secret arts ends the session.
