Sources
Per-chapter source URLs. Every claim about a real person or organization has its receipt.
Every factual claim in the Fires trilogy about a real person, organization, or event has a receipt. Nothing here rests on “trust me.” Two places hold the proof, and both are public:
- The research corpus — the raw source files the books were built from: 160-plus dossiers, 3,000-plus URLs, grouped by subject. Each one links out to primary reporting, court filings, archives, and the original posts. This is where a claim gets traced back to its origin.
- The bibliography — the scholarly apparatus: every book, paper, and article cited, organized by chapter, with links.
Between the two you can walk any assertion in the books back to its source without taking the author’s word for it. That is the whole point: the receipts came first, the prose second.
